Cascade 220
Cascade 220 is 100% Peruvian highland wool. The "220" comes from the number of yards in each skein. Cascade 220 works well for knitting and felting projects.
The care requires hand washing and drying flat.
Each ball of yarn is 220 yards and weighs 100 grams. The recommend needle sizes are US 7 (4.5 mm) and US 8 (5 mm).
Cascade 220 yarn comes in over 150 colors. I just love all the colors. I’ve made several felted bags with this yarn and colors hold up to the felting process.
If you are looking for a classic, affordable, readily available yarn in loads of colors with lots of yardage/skein, Cascade 220 is a good choice.
