It is called Wick because the fabric made from this yarn helps wick away perspiration. Knit One, Crochet Too had knitters field test socks knitted in it. One knitter said it “kept feet dry and comfortable in both 90 degree temps of Kansas and the 32 degree snow weather of Grand Tetons.” I can believe it. The feel of this yarn is soft and cool. It also has great stitch definition. I think my next summer top will be in this yarn. Maybe another sleeveless or maybe a tank.
