The Yarn Girls' Guide to Beyond the Basics is a great book with easy to follow instructions in some great looking patterns including crewneck and funnel-neck pulloevers, v-neck pullovers, cardigans, tees and tanks, ponchos, hats, scarves, and blankets.

The book has an informative fundamental guide to the basics of knitting as well as beyond the basic techniques and finishing techniques.
